EP 56: Part of our on-going coverage of Dave Sim's THE LAST SIGNING in September of 2010, the last interview with interviewer -- let's call him "Bill Roach" -- which provides a retrospective on 30 years of signings, ranging across a number of subjects including Steve Gerber, Lucasfilms, DreamWorks, with many rare photos of signings past. Wnat NOT to do at a Dave Sim signing (or is there such a thing?).
More animation transfer by Nick Wolensky. Many tried to succesfully do these transfers, but only Nick was able to pull it off successfully. When we went ahead with this plan we thought it would be an easy thing, luckily for us he pulled us through:)

Also a look at the original Mystery Men and the movie adaptation. It all ties in with this week's auction: 5 pages from CEREBUS No.104 auctioned individually and each autographed by Dave Sim, Bob Burden, Gerhard and Roxanne Starr. It's the fastest half-hour in Internet Comics television.

Above is one of our many rough renders -but we have so much footage (in fact Dave Sim will be doing an upcoming segment, maybe a full episode, on CTV regarding our animation), that it's becoming more pressing to come up with a definitive "look" for our film. I don't want this "look development" to slow down our progress as the focus now is on getting all the scenes finished, but all the same can't hurt to start discussing it. And so I did with Adam Sirrelle, who suggested Frank Frazetta or this Conan Film -or a combination of the two. Conan should be relatively straight forward, but Frazetta if we can even get close: something with a lot of dark shadows and smoky atmospheres -we'd be golden. Anyway, we should do some test renders and if there are any other ideas feel free to share them.
